GOD SPEED

THE LIGHT

Marcelo Augusto de Carvalho

The book of Genesis is the historical and theological framework for the basis of all creationist doctrine about the origin of life and all that it contains. Any facet of human life, whether physical, mental, moral or social depends on what this fascinating book says. If we want to build the psychic model of man we need to start with its origin so that we can define its reason for living and this can only be found satisfactorily in the first biblical book. If we want to understand why man despite possessing so many inherent abilities in his personality is often so unhappy in his heart, cannot overcome his challenges and achieve his goals, we need to study this book, especially its first three chapters and then we will discover that all this original potential has been misrepresented and altered by the presence of sin in his life. This then explains to us how some people who were geniuses never managed to control their desires becoming a disgrace to society. That's why I think this study is stimulating.

AUTHOR

We wish it had been Adam, but it wasn't him. Of course, in the garden of Eden, God told Adam how everything was created. He kept this account in his memory, but never thought of writing a book because he did not need to; his mind was perfect and possessed fantastic memory.

After sin, he had children and told them all he learned from God and what he had seen in Eden. These in turn told their children and thus from generation to generation was transmitted the history of creation. Long after MOSES, when exiled in Midian, shepherding his father-in-law's sheep, decided to write what he had learned from his mother about creation thus being born the book of Genesis around the year 1450 BC.

GENESIS 1

The Creation of the World and the Universe. Genesis. 1.1

This first biblical statement is clear and blunt; points to God as the origin and reason of all things created, both on our planet and throughout the universe. When we actually believe in this verse, we have little difficulty believing in all the rest of God's Word. This single verse refutes all the various pseudotheories invented by men about origins, such as:

- All these theories unrelated to biblical teaching teach that the present "cosmos" came into existence by the operation of "gods" or the forces of nature or some mystical principle acting on the material "substance" already existing in the previous "chaos".

- But the Bible shows that God created all things out of nothing!

The key question for understanding creationism and evolutionism within a correct view is whether all things were particularly created by the God of the Bible or whether they developed from materials prior to their present forms through the operation of inborn principles.

- If evolutionism is true, this "evolution" continues today, since it is to be assumed that the same principles continue to operate.

- However, according to the Bible, in a special way Genesis. 2.1-3, creation was completed within 6 days, after which God rested. Thus, the processes or principles used in creation no longer operate and cannot be studied by modern scientists.

CURRENT PROCESSES CANNOT BE CREATION PROCESSES

This fact is scientifically proven by two basic natural laws (the first laws of thermodynamics):

This law says that although energy can change shape, it cannot be created or destroyed and therefore the total sum of energy is constant.

That is, this law establishes that in the present nothing is being created or destroyed.

This law states that in any process or system in which energy is being transformed into other forms, at least a certain part of it becomes thermal (heat) energy that, in turn, cannot be converted into other useful forms.

That is, all current systems tend to decay and clutter.

This trend is totally opposed to the concept of evolution, because things regress rather than develop.

In this way, both science and the Bible teach that creation is not happening now.

Hence there is no possibility of experimentally studying any of the processes of creation. Whatever we want to know about it, we can only learn it from what He alone can tell us- God.

WHAT DOES ELLEN G. WHITE SAY?

- The teaching of evolutionism lowers the Great Creator's masterpiece to the level of the narrow and earthly conceptions of man. Patriarchs and Prophets 28.

- These pagan theories of creation exist only to exclude God from the sovereignty of the universe, resulting in the degradation of man and the loss of human dignity. Patriarchs and Prophets 28.

- Outside of biblical history, geology can prove nothing. Scientists do not have an adequate conception of the size of men, animals and trees prior to the flood, or of the great changes that then took place. Remains found on the earth prove the conditions that in many respects differed from the present; but the time when these conditions existed can only be discovered by the sacred record. Patriarchs and Prophets 38.

- Geological discoveries should inspire faith in the biblical account, but man directs it in the opposite direction. Patriarchs and Prophets 39.

- The Bible should not be proven by the scientific ideas of men. Patriarchs and Prophets 40.

- God is not restricted or restricted by his own laws. Nature is the serva of its Creator. God does not annull His laws, nor does he act contrary to them; but he is continually employing them as His instruments. Patriarchs and Prophets 40 and 41.

- God's work of the creation of this world is finished. Hebrews 4.3.

- But His energy is still used to sustain the goals of His creation. It is not because the mechanism, which once set in motion, continues to act by its own inherent energy that the pulse beats; but every breath is proof that He keeps his creatures alive. Acts 17.28. Your hand guides the planets, and keeps them in position in their orderly march through the heavens. It makes the vegetation grow, feeds all the animals, rules the clouds and prepares the rains, and so on Isaiah 40.26; Psalm 104. 27-28; Psalm 147.16; Jeremiah. 10.13.

God created not only the Earth's atmosphere but also outer space; in fact, the Earth is just a small particle spinning around the Sun if we compare it to the rest of the Universe. Of the nine planets in the Solar System, Earth is one of the smallest. Its orbit around the Sun is also small compared to that of Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. And if we compare our system with the size of the universe then we are reduced to nothing.

- To understand better let's see; the Earth revolves around the Sun along with other planets that together form our Solar System. But there are many other suns, in fact millions and millions of them, and each can have planets, composing more solar systems.

The union of many such systems form a galaxy and there are millions of them through space, each with billions of stars and suns.

Scientists have recently claimed that groups of galaxies may be traveling together in a giant system they call the "supergalaxy." An astronomer has calculated that our Milky Way is part of a supergalaxy composed of 15 galaxies, and that they are rotating around a common center, and that our galaxy is traveling at a speed of 1 million and 600,000 km per hour around this center. It is possible that in this center is the throne of God.

Using a simple language of the greatness of the Universe we see that it is so extensive that despite possessing all parts of its domains suns and gigantic stars emitting light the Universe is dark and gloomy. There are billions and billions of miles from one star to another.

- God created Time simultaneously with the creation of Space and Matter (heaven and earth).

What was earth like before creation?

- There was no form because there was no order on the planet; absolute darkness for there were no lamps in the firmament.

- The Earth was nothing more than just a mass of elements in the form of gas, steam and solids that rotated suspended in the air.

- But even so, God in His Spirit controlled, maintained, and supervised this space of chaos. (An interesting parallel is made from es"movement" in creation with the inspiration of biblical prophets. 2 Peter 1:21).

- It seems that, according to 2 Peter 3:5, God formed the consistency of the earth by water and through water. The material conformation of the primitive earth was somehow constituted in a water matrix.

Creation- GÊnesis 1.3

- Suddenly God echoed His voice through the ends of the abyss, and suddenly created the earth. - God did not depend on pre-existing matter. He was the very origin of everything.

- Created initially "out of nowhere", space ("the heavens") and matter ("the earth"), in concomitance with time itself ("the principle"), God proceeded to form the informed earth, initially smothered in waters and darkness, and then providing inhabitants with its silent surface.

- But a question deserves curious attention; how much energy must God have used to create the earth? Dr. Haroldo G. Coffin of Andrews University estimates that it would be the energy released by the Sun for 44 million years.

- The revelation of such facts: God told them to Adam, and this information was kept by generations until it was written in a book by Moses. Scientifically it would be impossible to discover such facts.

THE LIGHT

Genesis 1.3-4.

- After creating time, space, and matter, God then created light.

- Why was the light of your first creation? Of all forms of energy, the most fundamental is light, closely related to all other forms of energy. According to Einstein (E= mc2), c is the speed of light, tremendous speed that serves as a mandatory reference point for all other types of movement that occur in the physical universe.

- Although the light source was not yet the sun in its current form, the succession of afternoons and mornings shows that the rotation of the earth on its axis had already begun.

- Light is a form of visible energy. We do not know what kind of energy this was, but probably the light originated from the Creator, where he who, when he dwelt, said, "I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD."

- It is no surprise to us that God finds good light, Genesis 1.4. She's spectacular. Perhaps nothing in the Universe has as much energy and power as it does, so it represents the Creator himself so well.

- On the power of light, we see for example the light of a clear lightning. The energy of lightning we call electricity, and we measure it in volts or amperes. The electrical force is caused by the free movement of electrons from one side to the other, usually through a wire. The voltage is the pressure at which electrons move and amperage is the number of electrons that move. When 6 quintillion and 242 quadrillion electrons pass at a certain point of a wire in 1 second, this is an ampere. Now imagine lightning in any storm; it can measure more than 100 million volts and 160,000 amperes. It was because there was so much energy accumulated that it must not have been difficult for God to separate day and night by the presence and absence of light.

You can travel at 300,000 km per second. If we multiply this by 60 seconds, we'll see that light travels at 8 million km per minute or 1 billion and 80 million km per hour. It is so fast that if God excluded the sun's rays, we would have light for 8 minutes since it spends 500 seconds to travel from the Sun to Earth. It travels 9 trillion, 460 billion and 800 million km in a year of 365 days. But recently a scientist at Columbia University proposed the existence of so far unknown rays that he called TACQUIONS. According to him, the lowest speed of the tacion is the speed of light and there is no limit to this. This means that it would be possible for a táquion to leave Earth and be anywhere in the Universe instantly.

- This fact explains the text of Daniel 9.23 and teaches us a precious lesson; Daniel had received a terrible sight that had left him very disturbed. I was praying and meditating for weeks, but I couldn't understand her. In his despair, he cried out to God for help, and had the much desired revelation. At the end of his prayer the angel Gabriel made a fantastic statement to him; he stated that at the beginning of the prayer he received the order and came immediately. We don't know how far the throne of God from Earth is. We don't know where the angel was when Daniel prayed; could be even further away. But he received the news and arrived before Daniel finished a prayer that takes no more than a minute to pronounce it. How fast!

APPEAL: This teaches us how fast God is to come to our rescue. Every time we are in trouble, He immediately comes to our rescue. We do not need to feel abandoned, alone, despised when pain and sadness oppress us; God is always at our side. Believe this!
